Best Friends Parrot Garden has a lot of Cockatoos. And they are amazing characters. Of course you’re probably familiar with King O, but they have many others with loads of personality and ideas of their own. Al Johnson the Parrot Garden Maintenance “Go-Too” guy whom Seppi the Cockatoo absolutely adores, built their Cockatoo building. Stacey was kind enough to give me a peek at it and introduce me to these beautiful birds:

The cockatoo building at the Parrot Garden might just be the loudest place I’ve ever been! When Sugar & Clancy really get going they are quite the boys to be reckoned with! It’s “hi Sugar, hi Sugar, hi Sugar” over and over again!
All the Cockatoos here are the absolute sweetest bunch. I spent a lot of time with Windy, a Moluccan too, who was just the most gentle creature. And Charlie, who I believe was Windy’s offspring, and now Charlie is in her forever home 🙂
