If it involves tearing the thermostat cover off the wall again, we’re not having any.

No. I scratch up my papers on the bottom of my house, rip them into little pieces and throw them on the floor.

This is actually offering me a little peace of mind. My CAG has been on a paper-shredding kick lately as well & in beween shreds she announces “what are you doing bird” as if she knows the paper shredding thing is frowned upon in this establishment.

Bart, I think he learned it from you. Do you throw yours on the floor, or in the basement?

My Abby (CAG) does the exact same thing! Within two hours of cleaning her cage, it looks like a tornado has gone through. Parker & Abby would make a great team!!! LOL!!!

My Fiona, a MBC,can go through a phonebook in a week! I put papers under the grate and over the grate, just so she can shred them. I could rent her out as a “private papers/old checks” shredder!

Speaking of scratch paper, has Parker done his taxes yet? (Seriously, I wish we could deduct them!)

Carmel, he has a lot of “outgo,” but unfortunately, not a lot of “income.” I wish the reverse was true…

How considerate of him to keep you in the loop.
Did the chimichanga incident end alright?
I only have a wee budgie, so I cannot relate last time I met a bird like Parker the man said it was young and he doesn’t bite so I may pet him, I knew better staring at it’s huge claws and beak, but it was giving me a “come hither glance” and looked so in need of a gentle pet. I moved slow; part fear part common sense ( mostly fear) and boom he bit my knuckle, slightly broke a tiny bit skin, but the bruise was there for over a week. I guess when it lunged I instinctively made a fist so he got my index top knuckle, thankfully, My child size hand, (largest ring size a six, loosely) could have been a snack.
Yet after that cautionary tale, to no avail, I find myself drawn to Parker, and his kind. Not I bird I could ever own…so I visit Parker, what’s Pepper doing?

Ah, yes, if you give Parker a facebook page, Petri will friend him, but the other birds in your tree will pout for at least a week. Been there, done that, have holes in the T-shirt.
