How do you know God is on your side? Did you get a text or an IM?? Perhaps God sent the HSUS and the GDHS to save those birds from WOTR? Perhaps a WOTR "insider" dropped that dime to the authorities. After reading all the "supporter" posts I fear you all have been drinking the kool-aid. Quite cult-like.......

I don't mind the bite, its the blood that I have to clean up. : ) Our phrase is "cuddle bird". When I get the pufffy bird/flashing eyes thats the warning, I softly say "I want to see my cuddle bird" and the change is almost instantaneous. (A little treat when the feathers smooth out doesn't hurt either)

I make a mix of Dawn & white vinegar that I spray on the shower walls & it self-cleans the shower on my behalf. This mix also Ddes wonders on cleaning a boat too.

White (or apple cider) vinegar is great to clean your hair. Leaves my curly curls curlier & shiny too.

Dawn can remove the build-up of hair gels, hair spray residues, pomades, mousses, etc outta one's hair without destroying your hair - even on color treated hair.

White vinegar w/ a cut of water is my go-to household cleaner. That along with Dawn & occasionally baking soda. All cheap & work like a miracle & are parrot safe. I haven't bought any commercial made cleaners in years. Well except stainless steel cleaner & Dawn of course.

What else...Dawn gets grease stains outta clothes like nothing else w/minimal effort on my part.

My Mom has a Maltese (the little yap factory) that she keeps super day-glow white by bathing him in Dawn.

While white vinegar is by far my favorite go-to for just about everything. Dawn comes a close second.

While I hadn't thought of Dawn as a body soap - it would make sense. Most liquid body soaps are fragrance, ph buffers, foaming agents, surfactants & colored goo's along with other weird stuff to entice a consumer.

But Dawn is marketed towards dishes & penguin cleaning while Dial & SoftSoap are marketed towards body washes. Had marketers aimed Dawn towards body washes to begin with - it never would seem odd. People tend to do as they are (marketed) told to do more often than not.

To Thompson and Spradlin: Hate to burst your bubbles, saw the place before and after. There's nothing like having a flood of roaches run at you when you turn over a stand. And how about more roaches and even a mouse being moved into storage during the clean up? I have no doubt that Deb and the WOTR supporters care ABOUT birds, but caring about something and being able to actually care FOR something is an entirely different matter. Plain and simple the place was filthy and you know it. Watch the WHIO video about the horde of roaches looking for a new meal ticket.
And yes she was still breeding birds, she offered to sell me a baby about a year ago.......
